Although we are specialists with a proven record in trade mark and IP matters, we do not believe that lower fees requires a compromise on quality advice. Instead, we operate on smaller overheads than other firms. McIntosh IP is a young and dynamic firm. We don’t need to impress our clients with large offices and chesterfield couches; we let our great work and professionalism impress.

McIntosh IP was established by Daniel McIntosh, BSc. LLB., a trade mark attorney and trained solicitor.
Daniel has been involved in intellectual property since 2002 and before founding McIntosh IP, Daniel worked as a lawyer for a leading Melbourne IP law firm, specialising in intellectual property law. Daniel has also worked in a large Australian biotech company as a scientist and patent assistant. Daniel has degrees in Science and Laws from Monash
Community minded, Daniel has previously undertaken a 12 month volunteer post working with the government of Samoa and currently volunteers monthly at a community legal service in Melbourne. Outside of work Daniel loves to travel with recent trips including South America, China, Russia and India.
