“Determining your client’s needs is the first step to providing good advice. Diligence and competence are the second.”

Daniel Mcintosh

Principal

McIntosh IP is a niche trade mark and patent attorney firm, located in Melbourne, Australia, that provides trade marks and patents advice for clients in Australia and the globe.

Our goal is to continue providing professional and commercially relevant advice to our clients, at the most competitive rates.

Although we have extensive experience in trade mark and patent matters, we do not believe that lower fees requires a compromise on quality advice. Instead, we operate on smaller overheads than other firms. McIntosh IP is a young and dynamic firm. We don’t need to impress our clients with large offices and chesterfield couches; we let our great work and professionalism impress.

More About Our Advantages

Our fees.   Trade mark applications from $330 +government fees.
We are specialists.   The combined skills of a lawyer and the knowledge of a trade mark and patent attorney means you know your advice will be on point and precise. We won’t need to spend hours on things other lawyers or attorneys might because we’ve probably done it before and know the applicable law.
Friendly and approachable.   We pride ourselves on being approachable. You will have direct access to our professionals.
We are conscious of your costs   Even though we offer the most competitive rates you can find, we are still aware that legal costs can be expensive. That’s why we are vigilant about keeping your costs as low as possible. You will be consulted at every step of the way regarding your costs and we often work on a fixed cost basis. We’ll also provide you with practical solutions so as to not string matters out.
We service all Australian States   We have clients all over Australia. As a modern law firm, we can conduct virtually all our work via the internet and telephone. Many of our clients have found that although they are interstate, it was actually more cost effective and easier using our services than their local lawyer.
